Discover La Caminole: 40 km with 1200 m of positive elevation gain.

La Caminole is the first route of the Ariégeoise VTT combining mountain biking and 360-degree panoramic views of the Ariège Pyrenees.

After the common refreshment stop at kilometer 14, a long ascent (400 m of elevation gain) will take you to 1649 meters above sea level, the highest point of the route. The Pyrenees mountain range will unfold before your eyes.

Then, enjoy a superb descent on a singletrack trail to the second refreshment stop at kilometer 26, already with 1000 meters of elevation gain.

The end of the route is shared with La Caminole until Ax-Les-Thermes.

But that’s not all! Enjoy a little bonus with a cable car ascent to the Ax les 3 domaines resort. Finally, savor a sumptuous descent of 8 km without great difficulty to reach the finish line.

This route is suitable for mountain bikers with regular practice. It offers the perfect balance between sport and discovery.
